Charley and Myra have been married for ten years now and decide to celebrate by inviting their eight best friends to their fancy villa, engage their cook Mai Li to prepare a delicious dinner and order tons of expensive champagne. But when Chris and Ken Gorman arrive at the party, they find only Charley’s body covered with blood, a gun and a suicide note. No Myra, no Mai Li and – worst of all – no food! Thank God Charley is still alive but barely conscious and therefore unable to explain the situation.

While lawyer Ken remains calm, his wife Chris is coming apart at the seams, especially as the other guests are arriving fast. Was it suicide or attempted murder? Did Charley have an affair or was it Myra? And where are all the servants?
